New Project
Tridel awards Fitch Surveillance the ELEMENT Condominium Project, a 353 suite condominium in
downtown Toronto. The project includes a full CCTV system with GE/Kalatel digital recorders,
a Verex fully-integrated suite security intrusion and Access Control system, intercom duress
system and touch screen Mesh Directories with a "no-phone-line" EnterPhone backplane.
A single Verex integrated platform can control all aspects of building security.
A single key chain "fob" performs building entry functions (both regular door and
overhead doors). In addition the fobs provide built-in monitored panic alarm functions
within the parking garage. The system not only helps determine where the person in duress is,
but identifies the individual as well.

the security industry has given me and my staff in the last 25 years Fitch has been in
business". states Mr. Fitchett.

New Contract
The City of Oshawa has selected Fitch Surveillance as a vendor of choice for CCTV and access controls
in the many buildings they have under their control. Fitch was chosen from many vendors, with its expertise
in CCTV and with its intimate knowledge of the Keyscan product line being key factors. "We are honored to have
the City of Oshawa in our group of clientele and look forward to serving them for many years to come" says
Dave Hine, Manager of Installations with Fitch.

Local News Fitch Surveillance is partially credited with the apprehension
of a suspected sexual predator at a local McDonald's restaurant. Digital
images recorded at the restaurant were released by police to the public
at the time of an assault in a washroom of an 8 year old boy. These
images led to the alleged assailant's surrender to police.
During a media press conference, Staff Inspector Joe Tomei of Metro Toronto Police credited
the short time frame needed to conclude the case to the "high quality of the digital images"
retrieved from the store. A GE/Kalatel Digital Recorder was being used which produced a full
motion video of the event that the Police then used with GE's "QuickWave" Software to create
still images for wide media distribution.
Additional Facility Fitch Surveillance is awarded a contract to install a second fully integrated CCTV, Access
Control and Intrusion Security System in another of Estee Lauder Canada's manufacturing
facilities in Markham. The project includes a full Pelco PTZ CCTV system with digital
recorders, building-wide P.A. system and a Verex fully integrated, network-wide intrusion
and Access Control platform.

field of Technology and Communications.

System Upgrade Fitch Surveillance expands service to a major Toronto hospital. The facility currently has
over 120 cameras including some with pan/tilt/zoom capability, all of which are digitally
monitored and recorded on GE/Kalatel DVRs. The facility also uses a Keyscan access control
solution, restricting access wherever appropriate without hampering the hospital's essential
day-to-day operations.
The access control setup includes a non-adjacent medical facility (controlled remotely from
the hospital's security department) and a monitored non-adjacent staff parking lot which
allows the facility to automatically admit and bill its users, eliminating the need for a
parking attendant.
January 2005
New Installation Fitch Surveillance begins work on the Town of Ajax Town Hall,
Phase 2. The project consists of CCTV by GE/Kalatel, access control
by Keyscan, and intrusion systems by DSC.
The new facility will contain the offices of the Mayor and councilmembers, and the new council chambers.
Fitch Surveillance has systems in all the Town's buildings including all Parks and Recreation and GO Transit facilities.

expand security services for an industry-leading computer hardware manufacturer
in Toronto. Fitch Surveillance has been meeting this client 's security
needs since 1996, and with their latest expansions we now protect five
buildings totalling over 500,000 square feet.
Fitch Surveillance provides all aspects of security and access control
for the buildings, including a fully-integrated Keyscan access control
system shared among all five buildings, and GE/Kalatel digital video
throughout the complex.
