PCL Constructors has awarded the next phase of Concord Adex's Condominium Project to Fitch Surveillance Systems. New Project
Tridel awards Fitch Surveillance the NUVO-II Condominium Project, a 335 suite condominium in downtown Toronto. The project includes a full CCTV system with GE digital recorders, a Verex fully-integrated suite security intrusion and Access Control system, intercom duress system and touch screen Mesh Directories with a "no-phone-line" EnterPhone backplane. A single Verex integrated platform can control all aspects of building security. A single key chain "fob" performs building entry functions (both regular door and overhead doors). In addition the fobs provide built-in monitored panic alarm functions within the parking garage. The system not only helps determine where the person in duress is, but identifies the individual as well.

Facility Redevelopment
An electrical Contractor has awarded the Security Contract to Fitch Surveillance for the first phase of the redevelopment of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) facility on Queen Street in Toronto. The systems consists of Keyscan access control and CCTV systems and will be mostly completed by the end of 2007.

The plans for the new site are to replace the existing institutional character of the site with a normalized setting for client/patient care by transforming the approximately 27 acre property into an urban village extending the neighborhood streets and creating a series of blocks with various open spaces and buildings. The initiative will regenerate the property, integrate CAMH into the surrounding community and contribute to the revitalization of the neighborhood. Evidence shows that people with mental illnesses and addiction respond best to treatment in "normalized" home-like and familiar environments. The redevelopment will help CAMH to improve the programs and services and build a better environment for client care.

Fitch Surveillance is proud to have a long and mutually beneficial relationship with CAMH and looks forward to these new beginnings!
