New Development
Fitch Surveillance recently secured the order from Liberty Developments to provide integrated Access Control, CCTV
and Duress systems along with an Enterphone for their new development known as Centre Park Condominiums in Thornhill.
The Systems consist of a Guardall (Formally Verex) Access and Intrusion System along with Panasonic Digital Video Recorders
with internal and external Panasonic Cameras throughout the facility.
For additional security, Duress Buttons are located throughout the Parking areas and connected directly to the Concierge.
The Concierge is able to monitor these Systems along with intercoms for Visitor access.
A touchscreen Mesh "No phone line" EnterPhone system allows visitors to call directly to the Suites
from either the North or South entrance lobbies.
Announcement
At the Canasa Security Canada Central Conference and Exhibition in Toronto,
Ed Fitchett, President of Fitch Surveillance, was honored with two Canasa
President's Awards at the National Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The first was for
"Recognition of his dedication, hard work and contributions towards the development of the security industry".
The second was "In recognition of his exemplary leadership, continued support and unmatched level of commitment
to the Canadian Security Association" (Canasa). The awards were presented by Frank Peitrobono, Canada's National President,
to Mr. Fitchett as he stepped down from the leadership of the Ontario Chapter.

Announcement
Ed Fitchett has stepped down from the President's position for the Board of Directors
for the Canadian Security Association (CANASA) in Ontario and from the National Board of Directors
after the end of two two-year consecutive terms, which is the maximum allowed under Canasa's Constitution.
His term oversaw many changes to both the local Chapter and the National organization; a few being
the forming of the National Museum for Security, the ASC (Accredited Security Contractor) program,
and the complete reorganization of its Committees.
He now sits for a two year term as Past President and resides on the Ontario Board's Executive.
He remains as Chair of the National Trade Show Committee, a Member of the National Audit Committee,
and he is a Member of the Ontario Ordinance Committee.
CANASA has been in the forefront of representing security dealers and manufacturers alike,
and is celebrating its 32nd anniversary this year.
Continuing Development
PCL Constructors has awarded the next phase of Concord Adex's Condominium Project to Fitch Surveillance Systems.
This latest high rise residential project called Parade includes all security systems for over 800 condominium suites
in downtown Toronto. The project includes installation of a full CCTV system, Keyscan Access Control system, duress system
and touch-screen Mesh Directories.
This is the eighth such project Concord Adex, through its General or Electrical Contractors,
have awarded to Fitch Surveillance since their beginning of development of the Toronto Rail Lands in 2002.

New Development
Fitch Surveillance recently secured the order from Intracorp to provide a Keyscan access control system,
a CCTV system and a duress system for the underground parking levels of the Rivertowne Development.
This is the second of two awards Fitch has had for this large-scale project.
New Project
Mattamy Homes decides Fitch Surveillance is the security vendor needed for their new high rise
multi-residential project in Brampton called The Rhythm. Fitch Surveillance will provide
access control, CCTV and EnterPhone systems.

New Project
The Albany Medical Clinic located on Danforth Avenue awarded Fitch Surveillance the job of
supplying and installing all security equipment in its new medical building being built on Broadview Avenue.
This multi-story building will have an integrated Verex access and intrusion platform, duress system,
and full CCTV coverage.

Municipal Projects
The Town of Ajax awards two projects to Fitch Surveillance: the Pavilion located on Lake Ontario,
and their new Operations Center located on Salem Road.
The Pavilion, although small, enlists
all the major security equipment as required by the Town - a DSC security system, GE digital recorders
and Panasonic cameras.
The new 62,000 square foot (~5800 m2) Operations Center will also have a Keyscan
access control system, a DSC security system, GE digital recorders and Panasonic cameras.
New Project
Maple Leaf Foods asked Fitch to design a system that could be installed under challenging circumstances.
The client was looking for an Access Control system to be installed in a building that houses
a chicken processing plant. All cables needed to be completely impervious to water and humidity,
and all tasks surrounding the installation would have to be performed while respecting a very clean environment.
A Keyscan access control system was used to control two separate buildings.

New Development
This new construction project was the second building on the site in Mississauga developed by GWL
in which we have identical systems consisting of a Keyscan Access Control system, CCTV system using
GE Digital Video recorders and Panasonic cameras (both PTZ and fixed colour domes)
and an Intrusion Detection system using a Maxsys control panel. Fire and elevator monitoring is included
along with the Intrusion monitoring.

Continuing Development
Ellis Don Construction has awarded the next phase of Concord Adex's
Condominium Project to Fitch Surveillance Systems. Panorama, this latest
high rise residential project, includes all security systems for 385
condominium suites in downtown Toronto, a full CCTV system, Keyscan
Access Control system, duress system and touch-screen EnterPhone Mesh
Directories with a "no-phone-line" EnterPhone backplane to
be installed.
This is the seventh such project Concord Adex, through its General or Electrical contractors, have awarded to Fitch Surveillance
since their beginning of development of the Toronto Rail Lands in 2002.
New Location
Fitch Surveillance secured an order from a major Pharmaceutical company to protect their new head office
located in three floors of a five storey Building in Mississauga, as well as a new warehouse. The client
was moving from their present location in Oakville, which had served as both their office and warehouse combined.
Utilizing the client's network, Fitch Surveillance fully connected both buildings to allow control to be handled
from their Head Office in Mississauga.
