SILENT KNIGHT
Pressing the digit 4 and then STAT on your keypad will determine if you have a 4720 or 4724 control panel. On a 4720, you will receive the status of the system only on the LCD display after pressing 4, STAT. On a 4724, you will receive the model number ( 4724 or 4724 - 2 ) and the firmware revision. Once determined, follow the directions listed below for the appropriate control panel.

Setting the time and date:

• Enter - 9 and then the TEST button
• Enter your main access code
  The display reads: TIME?
• Now enter a 6-digit time setting. The first digit represents the day of the week ( See list below )
  1. Monday
  2. Tuesday
  3. Wednesday
  4. Thursday
  5. Friday
  6. Saturday
  7. Sunday
  The second digit represents AM or PM.
  0 = AM, 1 = PM
  
  The last four digits represent the actual time in hours and minutes.
  Enter leading 0's for single digit hours.
  
  Example: For Friday, 4:17pm, enter the following:
  9, TEST, (Your access code ), 5 , 1, 0, 4, 1, 7
• If your system includes an on-site printer, you will be prompted to set the date after setting the time.
  
  When the display reads: DATE?, enter a 6 digit date in MMDDYY format. Enter leading 0's for single digit months. After you press the sixth digit, the system will return to normal operation.

Setting the time:

• Enter - 9 and then the TEST button
• Enter your main access code
  The display reads: TIME HH:MM
• Now enter a 6-digit time setting. The first digit represents the day of the week ( See list below )

  4. Thursday
  5. Friday
  6. Saturday
  7. Sunday
  The second digit represents AM or PM.
  0 = AM, 1 = PM

  Example: For Friday, 4:17pm, enter the following:
  9, TEST, (Your access code ), 5 , 1, 0, 4, 1, 7
• Press the TEST button to enter the new time.

Setting the Date:

• After you set the time, you will be prompted to set the date.
• enter a 6 digit date in MMDDYY format. Enter leading 0's for single digit months. Press the TEST button to finalize the setting and return to normal operation.
  
• To set the Date without setting the time, press 8, TEST, and then DATE? will appear on the display with the current date.
• Enter the new date in MMDDYY format. Press the TEST button to finalize the setting and return to normal operation.

Setting the time:

• Press 1 and then ENTER
• Enter a valid access code
• Press 1 to select SET TIME
• Enter two digits for the hour in 24-hour military format and then ENTER
• Enter two digits for the minutes and then press ENTER
• Press MUTE to exit and return to normal operation

Setting the date:

• Press 1 and then ENTER
• Enter a valid access code
• Press 2 to select SET TIME
• Enter digit(s) for the month (single digits are OK) and then press ENTER
• Enter digit(s) for the day (single digits are OK) and then press ENTER
• Enter four digits for the year and then press ENTER
• Press MUTE to exit and return to normal operation
